About Sames & Cook
Sames & Cook Hardware first opened in 1880 as Sames and Struble. Located at 33 South Main Street, Mt. Gilead, Ohio, this historic building has housed a variety of businesses over the years.
While the present day Sames & Cook no longer has hardware, we do offer a unique combination of coffees, antiques, gifts, and decorative items in an environment reminiscent of the early 1900’s.Try one of our cappuccinos, lattes, or other specialty drinks as you stroll through our quaint shop. Enjoy a light lunch of soups and sandwiches as you linger in our dining area.
